Gearing Up For Winter with G3’s 2010 Product Line-up

First there’s the weather - snowing in the alpine one day, then 20 degrees and sunny the next. Then came the annual ski & snowboard film premieres, dangling 90 minutes of mouth-watering footage in front of us like a carrot just out of reach. And then the teases of all teases, G3’s 2010/11 ski line up is now online and in stores, ready to rock… as soon as you can find snow to use them!

New this year, the Manhattan is fresh off the press as our fattest ski in the line-up with a new progressive early-rise tip and Titanal tuned reinforcement to secure its spot as the big mountain charger in our roster. The much-anticipated early-rise tip is what knocked its predecessor El Hombre out of the ring, boasting way easier turn initiation and better float in pow.

Narrowing things up a bit for an all-mountain, all-conditions ski, the Fever joins the roster this year, ready to rip. With the same benefits of the Manhattan but a narrower 100mm underfoot, the Fever hits the sweet spot for almost any kind of condition, great for skiers wanting a one-ski quiver.

Meanwhile, the popular Rapid Transit got bigger and better, and aptly renamed the Mass Transit. A new asymmetric geometry, 95mm underfoot and a dash of early tip make the Mass Transit another all-mountain ripper. All the above make it easier to ski than its predecessor, yet it can handle much harder. Take one for a ride and you’ll know what we mean.

Not stopping there, the award winning Zest now has a beefier Zest-T sister making headlines (click http://bit.ly/biAn06 to read more). Complete with our new Titanal reinforced core, Zest T promises to take our women’s ski line to a new level.

There’s plenty more, and they’ve all made the journey from the drawing boards to our factory, throughout test days and now onto the shelves of ski shops everywhere. We can’t help but get a wee bit excited for that next snowfall, hoping it’s the one that sticks.
