Zest: keen relish, energy, gusto

G3’s women’s collection, created in 2008, is moving into its second successful year as it continues to elevate women’s performance, potential and overall ski experience.

One of the most popular products in the women’s collection is the new Zest ski, which features our new JoyRide construction and wider dimensions. An early tip rise, reduced camber underfoot, low mass tip geometry and a dual density sidewall make the Zest an award-winning ski for those women who want to play hard all over the mountain with the security and stability of 100mm underfoot.

G3 athlete and founder of Babes in the Backcountry, Leslie Ross has been skiing on the Zest and had this to say about it

“The Zest- Says it All.  Stable, with personality, I feel comfortable taking the Zest anywhere. From the light power to the heavy, the Zest holds up to the test. Float through Colorado Champaign and stand up through the muck.  Light enough for the backcountry, stable and versatile enough for the on Piste poo poo platter of terrain.  In an attempt to find the perfect all around ski, the zest is worth the trade off of little zip in the bumps for stability, ease and floatation in big mountain terrain.”

The Zest is such a popular ski that even men can’t resist skiing on it. Outdoor adventurist Dave Norona shredded on the Zest all last winter and calls it his “weapon of choice” in the backcountry. This is what Dave had to say about the Zest.

“Yes these are women’s skis but after testing these amazing rides last year I just couldn’t turn down a chance to use them this year. They are light, fat and float through the powder. These skis also have the new early rise tip which allows the ski to turn on a dime.”

Check out this video of Dave skiing the Zest mounted with ONYX bindings in a special BC location.

Living up to its name as a ski packed full of energy and gusto, the Zest is G3’s most award winning ski this season and shouldn’t be missed.
