Dave Norona has spent the last 18 years traveling the globe and racing in some of the world’s most grueling events. With over 400 race events in triathlon to adventure racing, motocross to backcountry sledding, Dave’s passion for the outdoors is inspirational. His enthusiasm is second to none, and he's all about getting more people out there to enjoy the backcountry in whatever way, shape or form they are most interested in.

Q&A

• Favourite G3 Gear: Zest skis with Onyx bindings. I love the Zest ski for its great float, ability to turn on a dime, and great flex for lighter skiers. It is light to tour with for days on end and I find it my go to ski whether skiing out of a heli, cat or snowmobile or touring up to find the secret stashes.
• Favourite Peak: Anyone that has some sweet lines off of it!
• How Did You Get Started Backcountry Skiing: I am a fitness freak and it was the logical step to get away from busy resorts to find the POW!
• Favourite Backcountry Accomplishment: My longest backcountry adventure was when I skied from Anchorage to Nome along the 1800km Iditarod Trail. It was where I learned how to backcountry winter camp.
• Best Backcountry Advice: Enjoy it!!
• Skiing Bucket List: Buckets are much too heavy. I live life through my heart and wherever that leads me.
