Looks like a great ski and congrats on the BC Mag Editor's Choice Award.

However, y'all need to fire your copy editors: "ZenOxide

Thanks for the congrats...

Thanks for the congrats... and the feedback.
Spelling copy has been revised. Just ironing out the last few site kinks and excited to see the new site come to life.

Feedback always appreciated, especially once everyone has experiences to share about the 09/10 gear.

G3's attempt to keep up with

G3's attempt to keep up with the Coomba... "rusty Buddhism" ? come on!

Why should I buy the Zen

Why should I buy the Zen Oxides over the Coombas? I am kind of torn right now.

Why don't you guys post

Why don't you guys post sidecut radius??? I need to know!

We have always said we do not

We have always said we do not like to talk turning radius, and we are sticking to it. The reason we don’t is that we do not use a simple arc when we design a ski sidecut. This makes it impossible to offer meaningful sidecut radii. G3’s unique sidecuts have a curve that continuously changes in radius along the length of the ski. We could give you an approximate radius, but this value would not accurately position the arc on the ski and would not tell you how and where it merges to a tip and tail transition. Thus, giving you a sidecut radius or turning radius alone is relatively meaningless. Many other factors like width, torsional rigidity, flex distribution, snow conditions, skier ability, and weight also contribute to how a ski performs and feels.

Hi guys, looks like a great

Hi guys, looks like a great ski!
But i am afraid the ski is not stable enough for high speed and hard riding in our mainly icy & crusty (european) backcountry? Thanks for a comment.
Gunnar

The Zenoxide is a very stable

The Zenoxide is a very stable ski under almost all conditions. You could also look at the El Hombre, which is a little heavier than the Zenoxide, while offering the same dimensions.

very interested in this ski

very interested in this ski for 90% backcountry use. What are your thoughts on this ski's performance during the other half of the year...on spring and summer crust and late summer nastiness?

thanks

Test drove the Zenoxide (177)

Test drove the Zenoxide (177) and the Tonic (185) and preferred the Tonic. I skied on-mountain at Whistler; conditions were hard packed and icy. I found the Tonic more responsive and stable on the groomed runs. Cuts through crud like butter and holds edge on ice. I imagine they will sing in powder with the early rocker reduced weight shovel. I found the Zenoxide's less responsive and a bit harder to turn in tight areas even though they were shorter in length. I was looking for a ski for the west coast mountains that I can ski on-mountain and in the backcountry. I looked at the Tonic, Zenoxide, Atomic Blog and Rossy S7 and decided to go with the Tonic. Have fun.

I had the opportunity to try

I had the opportunity to try this ski in a demo day and its absolutely great. My G3 Baron are dying and I just found to best skis to replace them with...

Congrats to the G3 crew...

I'm very interested in this

I'm very interested in this ski as well. Love the graphics too. One question: Without being bias to your own brand what kind of bindings do you recommend for this ski?

The ONYX or TARGA bindings,

The ONYX or TARGA bindings, naturally!

However G3 skis are strong and versatile enough to accommodate virtually any ski binding out there on the market.

I'am considering to include

I'am considering to include the Zenoxide to my quiver next season. Two of my deciding criterias are early raise and a light color top sheet (prevent's snow melt and ice buid up). Any chance that the Zenoxide will be equiped with early rise?

Interested in which length

Interested in which length would be best for 5'10" 190lb skier looking to use this ski in the trees in VT which can be tight at times.

A 177cm length would be most

A 177cm length would be most appropriate for someone of your height and weight.

I'm 175-180lbs, and I'd get

I'm 175-180lbs, and I'd get the 185 without question. The trees are more than 180cm apart, I don't think ski length has much to do with that.

What a great post! Just one

What a great post! Just one suggestion:If you add some pics, it would be easiler to follow!Christian louboutin

Hi G3, I just want to ask

Hi G3,

I just want to ask what would be the appropriate length of ZenOxyde for me?
I am 182cm/70kg or 6'/154lbs. This will be only setup for everything - touring, on-piste, off-piste, powder, hard pack. Thankx!

As an all-round ski for

As an all-round ski for someone of the dimensions you have provided, we would recommend a 177cm length.
