This act is as fiery as it looks. El Hombre is an impressive performer that moves nimbly while still offering smooth refined power. It is wide and stable underfoot, but unlike many fat boards, the El Hombre hasn’t lost its edge. Combining agility, stability and confidence-inspiring control, El Hombre isn’t just a powder day companion – it could very well be the everyday choice.

Had a blast ripping around on
Had a blast ripping around on my El Hombre's in South America and some USA volcanoes this summer. Solid, predictable, and light enough for touring and carrying. Obviously there's lighter options for long touring epics, but hey, for shredding hard they're my choice.
I rode these on a demo day at
I rode these on a demo day at Grand Targhee on powder and chop with Crispi Freeride boot and Fritsche. Totally rocked! Floated the powder, chowder and mank while cutting through the heavier skied out areas. Carried them up the bootpack where they felt just as light as my backcountry touring boards. This ski was unreal in everything and excelled in the pow. I am buying a pair this fall. They ski like a fatty in the powder, carried like a backcountry board and rode like a big mountain ski in the tough stuff.
So I have a pair of these
So I have a pair of these from last year with the cooler graphics, and they rock like nothing else. I ski oregon cascades and these guys rip in everything mother can throw at us. crusty gunk they power through and turn with ease, powder they ski themselves, you just have to ride along. Only area is real hard groomers or ice, the tips sound a little like your old bicycle with playing cards in the spokes, as well as so wide you really have to crank over to get them to run an edge. But those small items are more than made up by the performance anywhere else. They even work on bumps, ala glen plake style. I've got freeride binders on them and they are light enough to carry without much effort, great for the summer bc hikes. The ski can handle it all as long as the rider has the cajones to ski those areas others may not go.
