G3 wins Backcountry Magazine 2011 Editor’s Choice Award

It’s that time of year – the time when the stoke for the new season’s backcountry gear begins to build, as the first snows start to hit the high country.     On that front, Backcountry Magazine’s annual gear guide hit the stands recently, and G3 was honored to get a 2011 Editor’s Choice Award for its women’s Zest-T ski, which complements the existing women’s Zest. The Zest-T is an early-rise fat ski that’s 100 mm underfoot with a titanal-reinforced core for added stiffness and responsiveness. Read: This is a pair of aggressive women’s boards for the ripper who skis all-mountain and wants something that equally as home in the backcountry. It’ll bust the crud, ski the pow, carve the hardpack, and leave you with a fat smile on your face.   Because, for all the tech talk, that’s really what matters, right?   Backcountry Magazine’s 2011 gear guide also highlights a number of other innovative G3 products, including the new Manhattan and women’s Jam skis, the Onyx and Ruby AT bindings, and the Targa Ascent, Ascent SS and women’s Ascent Elle tele bindings.
