Winter is Coming – G3 Featured in Powder 2011 Buyers Guide
Just when you thought summer would never end, subtle but exciting hints start rolling in to suggest that winter is well on it’s way. At G3 we pretty much always have winter, skiing and snow on our minds, so you can bet that we don’t let a single one of these hints go by unnoticed or uncelebrated.
Sure to the innocent observer it’s the middle of summer, with 20+ days in Vancouver, clear skies, and dry as can be. But we know better, and so do skiers like you. Just look around you after all. The days are getting way shorter, peoples gardens are falling by the wayside, and there was even a dusting of snow on Whistler Blackcomb a few days ago.
But the real in-your-face hint of winter’s imminent return just landed on our doorstep – the first Powder Magazine issue of the season! I mean, how dare they put 155 pages of pow in front of us if winter isn’t getting closer?
