Two Thumbs Up for the New Manhattan Skis
A cult classic since it was first introduced, the Manhattan just nails the sweet spot for so many skiers. With 108mm underfoot and more camber than many powder planks out there, the Manhattan has earned a reputation as a super edgy, fun ski that is ready to rail turns when you are. Drifting is fun too of course, and that's where the new earlier rise tail comes into play. But for aggressive skiers who know how to lay into a turn, there's nothing quite like the Manhattan. True to G3, the Manhattan is easily light enough for deep snow touring missions, making it hugely popular with our partners in the ski guiding community. G3 athlete and ACMG/IFMGA guide Lars Andrews will rarely be caught skiing anything else.
Apparently the crew at Freeskier and Skiing Magazine had fun on it too. Here's Freeskier's take on the Manhattan, and watch for skiing Magazine's later this fall.
