G3 Show Skin Early Highlights

There is still a month to enter the infamous Show Us Some Skin contest brought to you by G3 Genuine Guide Gear and Powder Magazine. As always, it has been highly entertaining seeing the entries coming in. We know you're all still scheming your most creative entries, but don't be shy, there's no limit to how many times you can post.

#g3commit Final Winner

G3 would like to thank everyone who participated in our #G3commit project. The entries were wildly entertaining and inspiring. Thanks for getting us stoked for another amazing winter season.

Grand Prize Winner

True to our promise, we put all the weekly winners into a hat, and one lucky committed skier or rider had to come out on top. The full G3 gear set up worth over $1700 goes to Will Rickards!

Early Season Reminders from Dave Norona

Back in the Pow!!

I love the warm days of summer, riding my mtb, dirt biking and trials riding and of course kite surfing through the warm wind and water of Nitinaht Lake. But nothing feels quite as good as getting back in the powder, especially on a sweet new pair of G3 skis!

#g3commit Week #5 Winners

We are over half way through the #G3commit project, and we are still seeing plenty of entertaining demonstrations of your amazing commitment to winter backcountry adventure. This week's winners are Eric Mauer (photo above) and @sanjuansherpa below. Both will receive some fresh new G3 swag, and are entered into the final November 30th draw for a full gear set up from G3 worth $1700 big ones.

#G3commit Week #4 Winner

Week 4 of G3's #G3commit project just wrapped up, and the weekly swag is headed to Shawn Campbell for this entry that read "Steep stair skiing at the Colonial. Pre-season training starts now!"

Mt Sarmiento's First Winter Ascent - Part 2 - The Slog

We spent a week waiting the for a storm to pass to board our sailboat the "Arco Iris" and after two days and a demolishing sea sickness we were now at the foot of our frozen Goliath, well into the southern winter. It was August 19th and an extraordinary weather window was forecasted for the 23rd. After planning the logistics for a month-long time frame, we now had to rush and be ready for a summit push in 4 days! Difficult, but not impossible, and we were committed to making it happen. #G3commit Week #3 Winners

Another entertaining week of the #G3commit contest has gone by. It's only fair we hook a few more committed skiers up with some swag! This week, thumbs up go out Jorgen Jonsson and Elyse Dominica. There's no snow in either entry, but we're pretty sure these folks are committed. Jorgen apparently clamped a skin fabric bracelet to his wrist to remind him of epic turns to come this season.
