Cerise Creek
Several of us took advantage of the big early season snowfalls in Western BC and headed to Cerise Creek in the Duffey Lake area on Saturday, a couple of hours north of Vancouver. 30cm of fresh powder over a rain crust in the alpine and variable crud further down meant care was needed and skiing was restricted to the shoulder and trees above Keith's Hut. I was on a pair of Zenoxide 177's and they handled the conditions with ease. Photos courtesy of Matt Gunn.
