G3 Joyride Ski Construction
JOYRIDE TECHNOLOGY
We start every ski by incorporating our standard construction. For some models, that’s all they require. With others, we add our new JoyRide Technology.
G3’s new JoyRide technology combines 3 innovative design features that work synergistically to create a highly advanced freeride ski. The JoyRide technology delivers skis that have a relaxed yet stable feel allowing skiers to efficiently and freely dump vertical and easily maneuver through variable terrain and big mountain conditions.
- Low Mass Tip Geometry
- Reduced mass in shovel of ski
- Alleviates flutter often associated with early tip rise skis
- JoyRide Camber Line
- Reduced camber underfoot = easy steering and predictable response.
- Early shovel lift = dependable and effortless floatation as well as a longer running surface in soft snow while offering the benefits of a shorter running surface on firm snow.
- Dual Density Sidewall
- Thin layer of viscoelastic material (blend of ABS and TPU) has been added to normal ABS sidewall.
- Black strip = viscoelastic material. Black viscoelastic material acts as “suspension” absorbing jitters and other nervous behaviours
- Dual Density Sidewall = smooth ride
