G3's Award Winners for Winter 2017.18

We are thrilled to announce the multitude of awards and accolades earned by our 2017.18 winter backcountry gear collection from a range of ski and outdoor publications, including Backpacker Magazine, Freeskier and Backcountry Magazine.

G3 earned recognition from top ski and snowboard industry publications for products across several categories. The SENDr & ROAMr skis, ION 12 binding, and SCALA LT skins were lauded among the most notable backcountry focused products this season.

We are excited to see such a diverse array of G3 products receive such high praise, even carry-over product such as the ION 12 that continues to dominate in it's fourth season.

At G3, we aim to amplify your winter backcountry experience by developing the funnest, most reliable and most intuitive backcountry gear.  This kind of recognition across such a wide array of media helps confirm to us that the 2017/18 lineup continues to hit that sweet spot.

ION Bindings

The ION bindings have continued to impress ski media in their fourth year on the market. This season, the further improved ION 12 binding was again named Editor’s Pick by Freeskier Magazine and Editor's Choice by Backcountry Magazine.  As Backcountry put it, the ION 12 is "A NO-BULL OPTION FOR ANY AND ALL TOURING PURSUITS.”

SENDr 112 Skis

The powerful SENDr, with big mountain performance and the lightest weight in its class, is a backcountry freerider’s dream. We're excited that it earned Backcountry Magazine's Editor's Choice award for Powder Touring Skis, and agree with their quote that “THIS IS A GREAT SKI FOR TOURING IN DEEP, FLUFFY SNOW, BUT CAN ALSO HANDLE CARVING TURNS ON THE HARDPACK.”

ROAMr Skis

The all-new ROAMr ski series hits that sweet spot for agressive skiing on both sides of the boundary line. Backpacker Magazine and Backcountry Magazine gave their thumbs up in agreement, awarding it Editor's Choice and Gear Guide Select respectively.

We further refined the SCAPEGOAT splitboard this season with more durable and stable PolyUrethane sidewalls. Splitboard Mag is psyched on how it rides and tours, awarding it Best Big Mountain in their splitboard test.
