Early Season Shredding & Avalanche Practice

Early season skiing has its challenges. It may be lack of snow, 20km of rough logging roads, or thrashing through alders to get high enough; but earning your first turns of the season makes them that much better.

Early season is also a great time to hone up on your avalanche rescue skills. So if the turns are not epic and you’ve had your share of alder bashing, turn your focus to your beacon probe and shovel. We all know how hard it is to do them later when the skiing is balls deep.
